About Us:
We are a leading site excavation company with a fleet of over 80 pieces of heavy equipment and trucks, with projects in Northern Virginia, West Virginia, and Maryland.
Position Overview:
We are looking for a full-time CDL drivers to join our team. The ideal candidates will have extensive experience driving commercial vehicles and transporting equipment to and from various job sites, hauling dirt and gravel to job sites. This role is key in ensuring smooth operations for our projects.
Responsibilities:
Safely transport heavy equipment and materials to and from job sites.
Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in safe working condition. Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle inspections. Assist with loading and unloading equipment and materials as needed. Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations at all times. Communicate effectively with the operations team to ensure timely deliveries.
Qualifications:
Valid CDL (Class A or B) with Tanker Endorsement.
Proven experience as a CDL driver, with a clean driving record.
Ability to operate a variety of trucks, including low boy trailers, dump trucks, flatbeds, dump trucks, and water trucks.
Strong understanding of traffic laws and safety regulations.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Ability to lift and carry heavy materials as required.
